How do I book services?
You can book by messaging me directly via text or email, contacting me through my website, or reaching out on Facebook. Once we confirm your dates, I’ll send your Welcome Packet and care forms.
Do you require a meet-and-greet?
For new clients, yes! A meet-and-greet helps me get to know your pet(s), learn their routines, and make sure everyone feels comfortable before care begins.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible—especially for holidays or weekends. Last-minute requests are welcome when availability allows.
When is payment due?
Payment is due before services begin. This reserves your dates on my schedule and ensures everything is confirmed and ready for your pet’s care.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
I completely understand that plans can change.
Do you require deposits?
Some bookings—especially holidays or extended travel—may require a partial deposit to reserve your dates.
Deposits are applied toward your total balance.

Do you offer holiday pet sitting?
Absolutely! Holiday spots fill quickly, so early booking is encouraged.
Are holiday rates different?
A small holiday rate is applied due to higher demand and limited availability. This will always be discussed with you before booking.
What is your holiday cancellation policy?
Because holiday spots are limited, cancellations may be subject to a holiday cancellation fee. This helps keep my schedule fair and available for clients who need guaranteed care.
What happens during severe weather or emergencies?
Your pet’s safety comes first. If weather or conditions become unsafe, visit times may be adjusted, shortened, or delayed. I’ll communicate with you promptly and resume normal care as soon as it’s safe.
What if my pet needs emergency veterinary care while I’m away?
If I cannot reach you quickly, I’ll act according to your signed Veterinary Release Form and bring your pet to your preferred vet or the nearest emergency clinic. All costs are the client’s responsibility.
Are you trained for emergencies?
Yes — I am pet CPR certified and insured, and I follow professional safety guidelines during every visit.
How long are visits?
Standard visits are typically around 20–30 minutes, depending on your pet’s needs. Longer visits can be arranged.
What’s included in a visit?
Feeding, fresh water, potty or playtime, litter care, medication (if needed), and updates. I can also bring in mail, water plants, rotate lights/blinds, and take out trash bins upon request.
Do you care for pets with medical needs?
Yes — I administer basic medications as instructed in your Medication Authorization Form. I cannot diagnose or prescribe treatments.
Do you care for pets with behavioral needs?
Yes, as long as safety is not compromised. Please disclose any aggression, anxiety, or triggers during your intake process.
Will I receive updates?
Yes! I love keeping you connected while you’re away. You can choose your preferred update frequency—every visit, daily, or as needed—and you’ll receive texts, photos, or videos depending on your preferences.
Can you post my pet on social media?
Only with your permission! You can opt in or out in your intake form.
Do you have a contract?
Yes — all clients receive a service agreement, intake form, veterinary release, medication authorization, and a personalized Pet Care Plan. These protect both you and your pets.
Are you insured?
Yes — Little Ark Pet Care maintains liability insurance to provide safe, professional services.
Little Ark Pet Care provides pet services Broadway, Sanford, and the surrounding areas. Contact us to see if we can service your location. Travel fees may apply.
